Trick or Treat in St Paul
We spent a long weekend at youngest daughter’s in St Paul, I went trick or treating with them, had a great time, its been many, many years. Husband sat in their basement with the TV on and lights off, didn’t want to hand out candy, and the door bell never rang. Daughter, and family have joined friends in another neighborhood for 10 years now. The folks there really like the tradition, and many of them were in costume too, a couple had a whole scene of tombstones, witches, ect.
Now we are helping with senior meals 3 days a week for two weeks here in Oslo, we do it once a year. Its a nice program. a chance to join others for a meal and companionship.
I finished The Girl with the Dragon Tatoo, it could have been half as long, but I was curious enough to finish it.
I read the book you are reading Jerry, for a philosophy class at UND. There was a lot to it, but I didn’t understand a lot of the hidden meaning. I can’t think of the name of it now, but I remember the “shark”.
