Flu shots etc
I dislike shots but I dislike the flu worse, so I do get the shot. I have a tendency to bronchitis and I think the shot helps me not get that. I’ve had it twice and didn’t much care for it as a form of recreation! OR as a reason to stay home form work, either.
It’s been cold here – temps today in the 30s. I’m in a second floor apartment and I can thank my neighbor downstairs for helping me keep my apt warm. Heat travels up as we all know and while I’m not sure how it gets thru concrete floors, carpeting and/or vinyl flooring, I’m glad it does. I turn my thermostat way down, like 68, and still stay quite cozy. During the day, I’m inclined to turn the heat off. I was chilly this morning however, so the heat stayed on but at about 72, I think I had it.
Sounds to me as those of you who’ve HAD this are getting over it; I do hope so. Time to do cough syrup and eyedrops and such stuff we seniors get to indulge ourselves in (!), so I’ll say g’nite for now.
