Dubai?
I’ve not spelled it right, but our middle daughter and hubby have friends who agreed to teach in Dubai taking a year’s leave from the job in Grand Forks, ND. They didn’t last the year. The wife left before her husband, saying the whole culture is so extremely different, it was beyond describing. They are back in ND.
We are finally getting some relatively warm temps, well its almost 70 in the afternoon. Our son is planting his crops as fast as the tractors and men can keep up. We have a short growing season, you know.
Our trip to the assembly was worth while, one vote passed by 2—ours. But the real decision will be by the “general assembly” in Aug in Mpls.
We finished the Robin Cook book driving to and from, plus a few other trips. Its such an easy way of reading, and traveling.
So glad you are nearly done unpacking, Jo, your new dwelling sounds ideal. And good to see other familiar faces, names too.
