Memorial Day

I just got back from watching the Memorial Parade here. I walked there and back and had a bench to sit on during the parade; however, I stood and put my hand over my heart every time the flag went by. No one else along the route that I could see did that. Many were already standing but many were not. Isn’t that the correct thing to do anymore? The parade was enjoyable.

On the way home I stopped at the library to cool off and picked up a cd of Larry McMurtry, Telegraph Days. Now it is time to lunch and finish the Sunday paper and not do much else.
