Sunday April 29
It is a lovely spring day here in central PA albeit a bit chilly and quite windy. So I guess it’s the spring-time version of the cold sleety day and fireplace, wine and book.
Booksfree has the book, Jerry, and I’ve put it on my list.
The kitties are rambunctious and fractious and skittish and hungry. They nurse frequently and then sleep for an hour or so; then get up bright-eyed and bushy-tailed and have it again. One or two of them are even taking nibbles of Mom’s food and they’ve found the water. I got the automatic feeder and automatic watering dishes. The water jug hold a gallon but I only fill it half way to keep the water more or less fresh. I’ll change it every two days or so, however. Food disappears fast, even with just Mama eating it; you can tell she’s producing food for her army.
My neighbor brought her grandsons down to see the kitties; found I have one left to give away and they dashed right back upstairs to call their mom and see if they could have it. Since they didn’t come back down, I’m assuming mom said no.
I am not surprised; my own kids wanted every animal they ever saw. Remember those days?
Time for lunch – have a lovely Sunday all.
